Forma-care® understand the need for ongoing clinical education, product training and ongoing clinical support in an ever changing busy clinical environment. Therefore, a range of clinical resources is available to all customers to suit the needs of individual organisations, services and individuals. The resources available offer flexibility and adaptability to fit with the bespoke needs of services and learning styles.

Forma-care® provides Education and Training Support at every point during a Home Delivery Service contract.

Forma-care clinical resources are available to all customers. These will support excellence in continence care to patients with bladder and bowel problems alongside:

• Aiding excellence in delivery of clinical care by education and ongoing clinical support
• Professional staff development in line with NMC revalidation and NVQ requirements
• An improved patient experience
• Streamlined patient care from assessment to receipt of formacare incontinence pads

EDUCATION & TRAINING

Divided into:

Product training – An introduction to the Forma-care range. The session includes product selection, features and benefits of the products, fitting advice and practical hints and tips to enable optimal use of the range

Clinical training – An introduction to continence awareness, assessment and management to support clinical delivery of patient care in a variety of settings

Annual Educational Conference – Exclusive to Forma-care customers an education day that will provide product and service updates, clinical updates and networking opportunities.

EXPERT CLINICAL SUPPORT

Forma-care has a team of qualified continence nurses covering the whole of the UK and has a strong link into the continence speciality network through BBUK and ACA.
All of the education delivered is developed and supported by the national charity BBUK and is developed by experienced highly specialist continence nurses.
The Forma-care clinical team will work with clinicians to understand the needs of their service and ensure adequate resources are available in the form of training – clinical and product, fitting guides, product selectors, patient assessment and management tools using cara™, product guides and specialist advice.
Ongoing clinical support will be available at all times, online and face to face, providing the flexibility you require. Should there be any product issues help is always at hand.

Cara™

Cara™, a digital patient assessment and management tool, enables an efficient and accurate holistic assessment of an individual patients needs to take place with guidance on safe management and development of a management care plan. Cara™ also has a built in product selection tool to aid the appropriate choice of a forma-care® product, based upon clinical assessment and need. Exclusive to forma-care® and its customers.
